OpenChatKit

OpenChatKit is an open-source version of ChatGPT. It was made by the open-source community Together. It is based on EleutherAI’s GPT-NeoX, which has 20 billion parameters, and has been improved with 43 million chat-related instructions. This chat model is better than the base model in HELM. OpenChatKit isn’t just a chatbot; it also gives you a base to build your own chatbots. The most important parts of the kit are:

1. A language model for chat that is based on GPT-NeoX-20B by EleutherAI.
2. Instructions on how to improve the accuracy of the model for certain tasks.
3. A flexible system for getting information that lets bot responses be updated using sources like Wikipedia or news feeds.
4. A moderation feature based on GPT-JT-6B that can tell what the bot is doing and control what it does.
