Age of AI, an AI startup funding firm with offices in Austin, has created a new AI chatbot called FreedomGPT. Although it performs similarly to ChatGPT, it stands out by offering uncensored responses. FreedomGPT seeks to provide solutions devoid of any sort of censorship, in contrast to ChatGPT by OpenAI, which integrates safety filters and ethical considerations. Alpaca, an open-source AI system developed at Stanford University, serves as the foundation for FreedomGPT and has no affiliation with OpenAI. Age of AI’s goal with FreedomGPT is to refute the idea that censorship is necessary for ensuring the safety of AI systems and to promote open access to completely private large language models (LLMs).
