LLaMA Meta AI

Meta introduced LLaMA, a Large Language Model (LLM) with 4 foundation models and 7B to 65B parameters. LLaMA-13B outperforms GPT-3 on most benchmarks, while LLaMA-65B competes with Chinchilla70B and PaLM-540B. Although ChatGPT is interactive, LLaMA is a research tool. Meta wants to share it to democratise access to the rapidly evolving AI field and allow experts to address AI language model issues like bias, toxicity, and information fabrication.
