This Person Does Not Exist

“This Person Does Not Exist” is a 2018 Nvidia StyleGAN-powered AI face generator. The system uses two competing neural networks to generate content and detect real output. The main goal was to train the AI to recognise faces to improve Nvidia’s video card performance, but StyleGAN’s code allowed an Uber engineer to create a popular online tool that generates random, non-existent human faces at the click of a button.
